Leadership at Faculty Success Today
Craig Rhodes, PhD. --Craig specializes in Human Performance Improvement. He earned a PhD in the Department of Business & Industry Education (now the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development) at the University of Minnesota in 2002. During 2012-2013, he was an American Council on Education Fellow. Craig has acquired a strong working knowledge of issues affecting faculty and mid-level higher education administrators over the past 15 years. He has held dean positions at four-year (College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences) and two-year institutions (Dean of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Over the course of this time, he has supervised and mentored 15 chairpersons across a variety of disciplines. Moreover, he has served as co-chair of the faculty senate, coordinator of NCAA self-studies, task-force coordinator for community engagement, chair and co-chair of promotion, tenure, and post-tenure review committees, Special Assistant to Provost as well as Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs at a doctoral research university.
